I originally joined UNC Charlotte in 2011 as an undergraduate, earning a B.S. in Geology in 2015. After graduating, I worked for several years as an Environmental Consultant, specializing in ground and surface water monitoring. I transitioned into a role with Mecklenburg County Storm Water Services, where I primarily focused on surface water monitoring in order to protect the local water bodies from pollution. After spending a few years within Stormwater, I took a position with Mecklenburg County Air Quality where I operated a portion of the local ambient air monitoring network. In 2023, I returned to UNC Charlotte and joined the Environmental Health and Safety team as an Environmental Specialist.
In my free time, I enjoy travelling, golfing and spending time with my girlfriend and our dogs.
