Environmental & Contractor Safety
The Environmental & Contractor Safety team administers compliance programs that ensure institutional compliance with the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). The team specifically provides regulatory consultation, environmental and contractor safety assessments, storage container inspections, incident investigations, written programs, fall protection assessments, spill response, training, and other services to protect human health and the environment.
what’s new
- Respiratory Crystalline Silica sampling has been conducted across high-risk areas on campus, with results below OSHA exposure limits.
- Campus Loading Docks are being upgraded with new fall protection guarding throughout 2026.
- The Contractor Safety Program, Theater & Performing Arts Safety Program, and Respiratory Crystalline Silica Programs have been updated for 2026.
