OnSite
What is OnSite?
OnSite is a information technology system that is used to support Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) office consultative and compliance services. This system allows users to request safety services, report hazards, report incidents, respond to safety inspections, and update safety plans. The system also provides a centralized view of environmental, fire, chemical, radiation, laboratories, and facilities safety compliance.
How will OnSite Impact the Service Experience?
The campus community can expect the same level of exceptional customer service from the EHS team. If customers prefer to email EHS their inquiries, walk-up, or call the EHS team members those options will remain available. We will continue to place an emphasis on customer service while adapting to the growing demand for more flexibility, transparency and data analytics.
What system modules have been implemented?
OnSite Safety is a modular system with the safety services and safety reporting modules being the first components to be activitaved in 2021. These modules can be accessed by clicking the request / report tab on the EHS website.
What’s Next?
Beginning August 1, 2022, faculty and staff will have access to the electronic accident / incident reporting module. This will greatly streamline the reporting process to enable injured employees to obtain immediate access to health care. In addition, it will provide a seamless process for supervisors to document investigation findings and corrective actions.
