Lila Aldridge

I joined UNC Charlotte’s Environmental Health and Safety team in 2026 as a Fire Safety Coordinator. I graduated from UNC Charlotte with a Bachelor of Science in Fire and Safety Engineering Technology with a minor in occupational safety and also hold my Fire Investigation Technician (FIT) certification.

Before joining EHS, I gained hands-on experience in the fire service and emergency response, which grew my interest in fire prevention, life safety, and fire investigation. Coming back to UNC Charlotte after graduating is especially exciting for me, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to use what I learned here, along with my experience in the fire service, to help keep the campus community safe.

Outside of work, I enjoy staying active, spending time with family and friends, and helping out on my family’s flower farm.
