Supervisor safety training courses are designed to equip managers and leaders with the knowledge and skills to promote a safer and healthier work environment. Explore the resources and courses to learn how to incorporate safety in your work environment.
What you need to know
- Supervisors are authorized to assign required safety training to their employees. Please refer to the FAQs for specific instructions.
- Supervisors do not receive email notifications when their employees register for a training course. Supervisors should regularly communicate expectations, especially accounting for time used while attending training courses.
- Supervisors generally receive notification when employees do not complete required training within the specified due date. It is the supervisor’s responsibility to ensure training is completed in a timely manner.
- Supervisors should complete and retain an attendance form for all safety talk sessions.
- Employees are not allowed to register for online required safety training courses. However, employees are allowed to register for injury prevention and safety awareness training courses.
