Environmental & Contractor Safety

The Environmental & Contractor Safety team administers compliance programs that ensure institutional compliance with the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA).  The team specifically provides regulatory consultation, environmental and contractor safety assessments, storage container inspections, incident investigations, written programs, fall protection assessments, spill response, training, and other services to protect human health and the environment.

  • Regulated Building Material inspections are conducted periodically.
  • Hazard Elimination:  12,000 gallon underground fuel tank has been eliminated in 2025.
  • Select loading docks are being upgraded with new fall protection guarding in 2025.
  • The Contractor Safety Program Handout was revised in November, 2024.
